There are many pubs and restaurants in the area, but these are some of our walk-to favourites: (all within 5 mins walk in the village, some less than 1 minute)
- There is an Italian restaurant across the road from the front door – La Tavernetta. It is run by Antonio and is the best Italian restaurant we have ever eaten at.
Antonio has offered to any Inglenook Cottage guests that they could phone an order across from the main menu and his staff would bring it over to the cottage and plate it up/serve it. (Sometimes you don’t want to cook or go out or have a takeaway so this will truly spoil our guests!)

- The Falls Bar & Kitchen, great food and recently refurbished into a very trendy environment. Also does takeaway pizzas. This is where we like to finish any long day off over a nice glass of “muddy boots” wine!

- There is a new restaurant just opened in the village called Peaks & Troughs – their “buddha bowls” are amazing and certainly recommended

- The Wheatsheaf pub at the top end of the village does fantastic pub food and has offers on from time to time. Jan/Feb half price food 5.30-6.30pm

- Masons pub down on the main road does very good food too and it is always a tough choice for us between here or the wheatsheaf.

- Craven Heifer is a traditional village pub set in the village. With a wide range of delicious home-cooked meals.

- OPO Bar – drinks only but definitely a quirky little local bar that has to be visited
