Great cottage in a lovely little town. Fantastic trip!
We had the pleasure of staying here over a long weekend with family and this place didn’t fail to impress! Owners have tastefully renovated this property with all the facilities for the perfect stay, catering for friends or families with children and pets. On entrance there is a convenient boot room for discarding muddy boots, wet outer wear and cleaning muddy paws. There is a very spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen space with a lovely balcony overlooking the church which we were able to enjoy as the weather was so good. There are 3 very comfortable double bedrooms, an on-suite with the master bedroom and a lovely family bathroom. The cottage is warm and homely, perfect for relaxing after a long day hiking. The Information folder, I found very useful for information on local amenities, good eating places and what to do in the area. The owners, Jayne and Mark were very accommodating and friendly, we felt very welcome and were even greeted with a little hamper on the dining room table! Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay we will definitely be returning! X
Wow what a gorgeous piece of Yorkshire. I’ve just had a long weekend with family at Inglenook Cottage and I honestly couldn’t fault the place. Easily one of the best places I’ve stayed. The cottage is located in a lovely village with loads of lovely restaurants and cafes, plus its opposite a co op which was super handy! It was also lovely of the owners to leave a little hamper of fresh eggs, jams, wine and biscuits. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking at home and they have a book with all the local recommendations if you want to eat out. We particularly loved the family-run Italian across the road. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with soft bedding and the living rooms was super cozy. Loved curling up in the living room or sitting out on the balcony and looking at the stunning view of the church. The bathtub was a highlight for me too- lovely standalone bath with freestanding tap was such a nice way to finish off the day after we went hiking around the local waterfalls.I also really appreciate the boot room as you walk in where you can store boots/coats/buggies/bikes etc. They even had a little box for the dogs of towels/poo bags etc which was such a nice touch. Finally the owners were really approachable and we felt really looked after while we were there. It was so good we’re looking to come back in a few months with some more family.11/10 from me!
I have just come home from the most amazing long weekend away at Inglenook Cottage. It was the most gorgeous cottage right in the centre of Ingleton, and everything was within walking distance! It had such a cosy, homely atmosphere. You can just tell so much detail has been put into it all, we didn't want to leave! Will definitely book again.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Inglenook Cottage in the charming village of Ingleton. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. The cottage offers all the comforts you need, and its central location means you’ll have shops, cafes, and restaurants right on your doorstep. The cottage also provides a lovely welcome hamper for guests with a lovely bottle of wine along with biscuits and fresh eggs. The hosts have really thought about everything to make your stay as smooth as possible. It is such an amazing place to stay and we will definitely be coming back!
A beautiful, cosy cottage in the heart of Ingleton.I’m often critical of the holiday cottages we stay in but this one is a gem. It’slovingly decorated and maintained - immaculately clean and warm. The kids loved the fact that there’s a Firestick and very good WiFi 😂.There was also a Christmas tree and decorations - lovely! My only suggestion is bath sheets rather than bath towels. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you!
We stayed at the cottage in January 2023. The cottage is finished to Avery high standard and feels really cosy. It is spotlessly clean. There are 3 bedrooms, one with an en suite and a full bathroom with shower on the main floor. The place was warm and relaxing. We were very close to all the amenities, from going to the Italian restaurant right over the road, to the numerous pubs and coffee shops in the village. The cottage is very close to Ingleton Falls and we spent a nice leisurely day walking around them before returning to the cottage for some relaxation. We loved the cottage and look forward to going back soon.
I had a wonderful short break at this lovely cottage with my friend in January. Everything is spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Beautifully renovated inside and out and in a super location. Lots of walks in the stunning local area, with a small supermarket and several very nice pubs within easy walking distance. Perfect for couples and families alike, and dog friendly too with a downstairs area to clean off muddy boots or canine friends!
A stunningly beautiful renovation of this 300yr old cottage! Sympathetically keeping it's charm with original oak beams.Stayed with a friend for a weekend in January and had a wonderful time. Mark & Jayne, the owners have thought of everything! From the boot room downstairs with bike racks, doggy towels/ treats and an outside tap to rinse them off!Upstairs is amazing, open plan cosy lounge, kitchen diner. 1 dbl bedroom and fantastic bathroom on first floor then on 2nd floor, 2 further dble bedrooms (1 with ensuite) very tastefully decorated.Lovely views of the rolling hills, and a cute little balcony which will be gorgeous to sit out in summer! Not that we used it in January. LolIdeally situated in a very pretty village, with shops, restaurants and pubs in walking distance. All dog-friendly which is important to me.Ingleton Falls, down the road, is a lovely 3hr walk which has breathtaking views. Well worth seeing but appreciated the lovely big bath afterwards!Mark & Jayne couldn't do enough for us, talking us through everything like tv/wifi etc.Would highly recommend this tardis of a cottage! Relaxing break or walking/caving/cycling , whatever you want, it's there. Can't wait to return in summer!
